Gail Giles, born September 24 1957, is an author for young adult stories. She has written Playing in Traffic, Breath of a Dragon, Shattering Glass, and Dead Girls Don’t Write Letters. She grew up in Texas, moved to Alaska, and as of 2004, lives back in Texas. She was a former English teacher in Texas. Her husband is Jim Giles, and their son is Jake Jakubik. Most of her readers recommend her books to any teenage girl.
